125 Things: 125 Posts about Centennial Park Rainy Walk Part 1 #cp125 2

The park has been so dry. Today, when we had a lot of rain, I went for a rainy walk because I love to see everything green and wet and because I love the park in all its moods. My camera kept getting wet and I was trying to hold a giant, heavy umbrella. Sometimes I just threw the umbrella on the ground as it was getting in between me and what I was looking at.

I forgot to take pen and paper but there were some words hovering around. Some came home with me. It was raining heavily at times and I realised I need waterproof shoes. Dad wanted to show me the labyrinth which is being built in the park but he couldn’t remember where it was —  we looked in a few places for it. That seems appropriate for a labyrinth.

Come on a walk with me – photos appear in the order I took them. Nothing arranged. I photograph things as I find them. The walk is in 4 parts.

  1. Hi Paula,

I bet it doesn’t look like that today!
Waterproof camera for today’s photos of the Park, lol.

Lol I haven’t ventured in there today although might go for a drive. Just got completely drenched doing a grocery shopping run but yesterday I thought my camera (it was my phone camera) would give up as it kept getting wet. I want a waterproof one – that I can take swimming!
